ICCM Chapel, 13 March 2010. Seven candidates for graduation were honored today in a simple commencement exercises held at the ICCM campus. They are Roldan D. Anonuevo, Armando R. Avenido, Jr., Melendre B. Bornalo, Ronillo P. Cruz, Rene S. Gaytano, Ma. Cherie Ann A. Tuliao, and Edezel S. Vedeja. Everybody, except Mr. Avenido, Jr. who was conferred with Bachelor in Christian Service (major in Outreach), received Bachelor of Theology degree, with majors in Education and Ministry. The graduation theme was “Ready to Serve”, a denotation of the graduates’ readiness to enter into the field of mission.
Guest speaker was Prof. Ian Stomp, chair of Kingdom’s Ambassador (USA), the ICCM’s major donor and partner in running this bible college. Another guest professor from America, Prof. Jeff
Chamberlain also graced this occasion. ICCM academic dean Ross Wissmann took the lead in the graduation ceremonies, while Music Department chair Dr. Cheryl Wissmann took care of the choral ensemble rendition during the ceremony, with the unique ICCM Prime Chime, the college’s version of Philippine’s famous Pangkat-Kawayan. ICCM president Prof. Arthur Santiago also spoke during graduation, while this reporter in his capacity as ICCM-BOT chair did the conferral of degrees among the seven graduates.
The graduation ceremonies were capped through a simple lunch fellowship for some 150 total attendees. (JSF)
