20 November 2009, CAS, CLSU, Nueva Ecija - This blogger serves as initial evaluator for social science research proposals prepared during the Workshop on the Preparation of 2010 GIA Research Proposal held on Nov. 19 - 20, 2009 at the College of Arts and Sciences, Central Luzon State University under the auspices of CLSU-CHED Zonal Center headed by Dr. Renato G. Reyes. A total of 22 research proposals were presented and initially critiqued by a team of evaluators including this blogger. Comments were likewise given by fellow research proponents.Research and evaluation study proposals ranging from basic through applied research were presented covering various areas under social and pure sciences. After this initial evaluation, the proposals shall be revised by the respective proponents based on the comments made during the review. Final proposals shall be submitted to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for final evaluation and subsequent approval (or disapproval) for funding. (JSF Blogs)
