San Francisco Church of Christ (Nueva Ecija) 5 Sept. 2009 - The team of Sto. Tomas Church of Christ youth composed of Ruby, Monica, Gladys, Janine and Glichelle (1st photo above) won in the Cooking Contest (Snacks Category) held in this Church today. The team coaches were Sis. Rose Falla and Sis. Norma Sagun, STCC deaconesses. They prepared a delicacy made of ground sticky rice with coco-derivatives called latik. The team's prize was a set of kitchen utensils which will be added to Church's properties.
The Cookfest was a part of Cluster 5 Churches joint youth fellowship every quarter. Bro. Arnold Juliano and Bro. Melchor Gervacio led the organizing committee for this kind of special fellowships of Christian youth. Cluster 5 is composed of the local church of San Francisco, Bakal 2, Maligaya, Malayantoc, Sto. Tomas/CLSU and San Jose City. (JSF blogs)
