Filipino Child Taekwondo Champ Goes International






3 November 2012, American Canyon, CA. USA. Filipino child Taekwondo champ Daniel Kyle Falla-Taruc, once more proved his worth in the Taekwondo world of sports, as he reaped two Gold medals in the All California Taekwondo Championship (ACTC) games held in Jesse Bethel High School, Vallejos, California today, from 8 AM to 6 PM (PDT). This was communicated by his (Kyle) mom Danna-Rose in an internet and cellphone communications, for clans in the Philippines.

Kyle garnered the 2 coveted awards under both categories Poomse and Kyorugi. All players competed on Forms, Sparring, Board Breaking and Creative Forms. Winners received medals and trophies.

In the Philippines, Kyle plays for both Bulacan (community) and Ateneo de Manila University (school) Taekwondo teams. He started playing in this sports when he was as young as four at CLSU (Central Luzon State University) under Prof. Quitos. He has a wide collections of medals, trophies and certificates in the domestic games.

This ACTC is Kyle's first international exposure, and was made while he was on semestral vacation in America. He is currently in Grade IV-Bagobo at Ateneo Grade School. (JSF Blogs)
