STCC Celebrates Christmas 2010
The Sto. Tomas Church of Christ, a small Christian congregation in the campus of the Central Luzon State University (CLSU), chose the Sunday before December 25 as a special celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, on December 19-Sunday celebration, it was made special because other than the usual worship activities, Christmas was observed through a Christmas message by its minister Bro. Migs Nad, Jr., exchange gifts, gift-giving for children, special children’s presentation, and a sumptuous salu-salo of Christmas foods typical of Filipino family. In the gift-giving portion, Nonog family gave each household-family a Christmas gift as a gesture of thanksgiving for the blessings they received throughout the year. Some officers distributed among children P20new bill, another tradition of the Filipinos (which used to be giving coins).
Posted here are some photographs taken during such Christmas celebration. (JSF Blogs)
