Nov. 20-21, 2010, Nueva Ecija Church of Christ. There are two important activities that Sto. Tomas Church participated and conducted this week end. The first one was the Couples' seminar held on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at the cozy place of Leticia Plaza in Cabanatuan City. It was organized by SPKKKababaihan-Nueva Ecija, and participated by over 40 pairs of parents and young lovers. The seminar was facilitated by Bro. Melchor Maldupana and Sis. Remelie Hermoso, where the real couples renewed their marriage vows with Bro. Maldupana standing as witness. Unofficial, yet, serious, the couples affixed their signatures in a one-page contract renewing their commitments to each other. The seminar was capped through a prayer, Rose-offering to the wives and of course, a sumptuous lunch.
Came Sunday, the following day, 21 Nov., the Sto. Tomas Church hold the annual Thanksgiving celebration at its pastoral, which is also the residence of its elder Bro. Josue S. Falla. The celebration coincides with the Open House, where the extension of the elder's house has just been completed. An open space second level of the house was constructed where the fellowships and other functions of the Church shall be held. The place is located at the midst of rice field in the south and an orchard in the north, and a fine view of the sunset. (JSF Blogs)
